Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. Willy Loman, the main character of the Death of a Salesman, experienced both the ups and downs of life. His life wasn’t how he expected it to be. Willy focused on becoming well-liked and well-known, and for a while things seemed to be going his way. But in reality as he got on in years, people no longer appeared to cared. Therefore Willy took that too personally into heart. He couldn’t handle the pressure. His reaction affected those around him like his relationship with his son, Biff, and his whole outlook on life. Willy’s life illustrated how weak he was by the way he took his life. In the beginning, Willy and Biff had a wonderful father and son relationship, but one day it all changed.
