The History.com staff is made up of historians, doctors, paleontologists, archaeologist, and etcetera. On the website the article, The Berlin Wall, was written in 2009 for the use of knowledge and learning. As a television channel the information is given in both documentaries and articles. The article means to provide information for the people researching or trying to understand historic topics. The article contains the basic information on the separation of Germany and how the wall came to be. The information found on this website was compared to other information found. The value is high based off of the findings that the information is seemingly true. There are minimal hints of bias. The only hints of bias is the fact that everyone’s opinion of what happened is different. There is more knowledge of what happened to the West side of Germany. This causes limitations because the knowledge needed to answer the research question is not as prevalent. The wall did not help with the migration at first, causing the people to migrate faster to West Germany. The wall was upgraded and allowed little to no people through. Although many people migrated to West Germany, there was still too many people for East Germany. People needed homes and jobs, so the government decided to create government housing. This brought the economy down because as an incentive to having children, meaning more population, they would get government housing.
