The 6th Commandment of the Bible’s Old Testament is “Thou shalt not kill.” Abortion involves killing and human and defies this commandment from God. Unborn babies are innocent human beings from the moment they are conceived. They have a right to live just like you and I. There is only one instance where I would accept abortion as opposed to giving birth to the child. That would be in the case that a woman was raped. Aside from that, all other reasons, some which I will discuss later on, are irrefutable. As Mother Teresa stated, “There are two victims in every abortion: a dead baby and a dead conscience.” I’ll continue my stand on this matter by stating what probably hundreds of pro-life supporters say; if a woman gets pregnant by mistake it is her fault, not the baby’s. For women who demand complete control of their bodies, control should include then, obviously, preventing the risk of unwanted pregnancies. Many

    Three events that were the most responsible for changing life in colonial America will be listed below. One even was the economies. In the northern colonies, they based their economy on trading, shipbuilding, fishing, and very little on this, but they also sort of used farming as an economic resource. In the middle colonies, they based their economy on farming;(not a lot, but more than the northern colonies), trading, and their industries. In the southern colonies, they based their economy mainly on farming and trading, but mostly farming on plantations because the land was very fertile and the climate was good for growing crops and the plantations could make a lot of money from the cash crops. Another thing that influenced the way of life in colonial America was the number of enslaved African Americans. In the northern colonies, there was very little to no enslaved African Americans basically. In the middle colonies, there was again very little enslaved African Americans because like in the northern colonies, very few people made their money off of farming. However, in the southern colonies, there were huge plantations that needed a lot of people to do a lot of physical labor for very little or no cost, so the number of enslaved African Americans were very high in the southern colonies due to the huge plantations that the economy needed. A third event that changed life in colonial America was the Navigation Act. The Navigation Act was the restrictions of who the colonists could trade with. The Navigation Act was good at first, but then merchants from the colonies could not trade with any other parts of the world other than England, and England wasn’t paying a lot for what the colonists traded.
