It is said that 1/3 of Americans have admitted to trying marijuana on more than one occasion. Illegal drug production and distribution is becoming a rather large business than it ever has been before. Cannabis is currently considered to be the largest “money crop” in the United States. A big part of its production is even produced right here in the United States. People often have problems with the use of marijuana among teenagers and young adults. They worry this may spring into teeneagers using cannabis more frequently, and is more likely for them to be arrested and being sent to jail as well as once again proving statistics right. If there was a proper regulated and legal market in marijuana, it would significantly reduce marijuana sales and use among teenagers. Furthermore, it would reduce their exposure to other drugs in the illegal market/business. One thing that is absolutely true, is that the illegality of marijuana makes it so much more valuable to people than if it were legal, which is technically providing opportunities for teenagers to make easy buck selling it to their friends or anybody else. If the huge profit for marijuana sales were ended through decriminalization, there would be less encouragement for teens to sell it to one
