They to overs meet again at Juliet’s balcony because Romeo trying to get way from his friend jumped the wall into the orchard where Juliet was. Juliet is speaking her private thoughts aloud and she says that if only there lasts names weren’t a Capulet and a Montague they could love freely. Romeo hearing this speaks out and surprises Juliet. Juliet who accidently told Romeo she loved him cannot take it back because he herd her and it was true and Romeo takes this as a green light to be as insistent as possible to be ‘Satisfied”. Juliet tells Romeo that she wants to take their relationship slow and says it should blossom like a flower and not be like a lightning strike- fast and intense but fizzle out quickly. She wanted him to prove he loved her so Romeo tried to swore by a multitude of thing to prove his love. Juliet didn’t like any of his promises because she felt it was unreliable and said “if that thy bent of love be honorable thy propose marriage” (act 2 scene 2 line 143-144). Juliet knew better than to propose so quickly but gave this choice to Romeo because she felt it was the most drastic and binding way for Romeo to prove his love. She knew from the beginning how reckless it would be to move fast yet she went back on her words on an impulse because she was only thirteen and teenagers make reckless decisions even after making logical one. Teenagers in general don’t know how to make big decisions and it’s up to the adults to guide them but adult don’t always choose the logical rout
