1. Since the time I was a little girl I have dreamed about becoming a veterinarian. I have always wanted to have the opportunity to be around animals and make sure they have the proper care as a job. To be in this occupation means you have to like being around different kinds of animals not just cats and dogs. In order to become a veterinarian there are some steps to take to be certified in this occupation.

The reason for the animals to cause this reaction about being at the vet is mostly because they are uncomfortable or scared. There are also some veterinarians “who work with food animals or horses spend time driving between their offices and farms or ranches”(OK Career Guide.org). If you are dealing with food animals or horses you may have to work outdoors in all types of weathers and may even have to perform surgery in unsanitary conditions(OK Career Guide.org).11.One limiting factor for being in this occupation means that if you are to be sick you may or may not be able to get the day off and rest at home. The reason for this is there may or may not be another veterinarian to do the surgeries or vaccines so it'd be best to go in unless you are really sick because then the owner of the animal will have to reschedule the appointment and they may or may not be too happy. A family of a veterinarian life can be affected in ways. Most of the time a veterinarian's flexibility is below average but that doesn't mean that you won't be able to spend some time with your family.
