Step 1: Gather materials HYPERLINK "http://cdn.instructables.com/FYU/XZ3D/FOHU3OCP/FYUXZ3DFOHU3OCP.LARGE.jpg"

HYPERLINK "http://cdn.instructables.com/F8P/TJ43/FOHU3OC3/F8PTJ43FOHU3OC3.LARGE.jpg"

Gather materials. Here is a list of what you will need1-clear acrylic tube 10" long with a 1 1/4" inside diameter 3- mirror pieces 10" X 15/16". Plastic is best for safety and it can be sanded for perfect fit.1-1 1/4" diameter clear disk1-1 1/2" diameter cabochon1-small tube of clear glueI got these pieces at TAP Plastics tapplastics.com. You can also buy the kit TAP put together.Optional stuff to add style:1-piece of sparkle paper, or other material to wrap around the kaleidoscope1-clear tube 2" long by 1 1/2" inside diameter1-1 3/4" diameter clear circleSmall colorful parts (Step 7)
Step 2: Assemble the mirrors HYPERLINK "http://cdn.instructables.com/FZ9/THQ7/FOHU3OBZ/FZ9THQ7FOHU3OBZ.LARGE.jpg"

HYPERLINK "http://cdn.instructables.com/FK9/8QGQ/FOHU3OBY/FK98QGQFOHU3OBY.LARGE.jpg"

Form the mirrors into a triangle (shiny side in) and slide them into the tube. If the fit is too tight, sand the outside edges until they just wedge in and don't move. Make sure you clean them first, because if you can't get them back out, you'll never be able to clean themStep 3: Glue the parts HYPERLINK "http://cdn.instructables.com/FIO/W8I1/FOHU3OBW/FIOW8I1FOHU3OBW.LARGE.jpg"

Using the clear glue (I used Weld-On #16 which is designed for plastic), glue the 1 1/4" disk onto one end of the tube. Use very little glue.Step 4: Glue the cabochon HYPERLINK "http://cdn.instructables.com/FJ6/0EUY/FOHU3OBT/FJ60EUYFOHU3OBT.LARGE.jpg"

Glue the cabochon to the other

Once you have all your materials together proceed with the following steps: 1. Remove the mechanical splice from its protective packaging and load the splice into the assembly tool by pressing firmly at the ends of the splice. Do not depress the raised section on the mechanical splice. 2. Strip approximately 3cm of buffer and/ or coating from the optical fiber using a stripper. 3. Clean the optical fiber by pulling the fiber through a lint- free wipe soaked in optical fiber cleaning fluid. 4. Place the optical fiber in the cleaver, to the length specified by the mechanical splice manufacturer. 5. Cleave the optical fiber. 6. If the gauge is provided, check the cleave length with the gauge. 7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for the other fiber end to be spliced. 8. Push the other cleaved optical fiber into the other end of the mechanical splice until it stops moving. 10. Place both optical fibers in the clamping mechanisms on the opposite sides of the splicing tool, forming a modified loop in the optical fiber. 11. Pivot the splicing tool handle down until it contacts the top of the splice, then squeeze the tool handle to complete the assembly and lock the spliced ends in place. 12. Remove the optical fibers from the clamping mechanism and lift the mechanical splice from the…

The mold is placed into the machine. The workers feed the high density polyethylene into the heated barrel where it is pushed through the screw. The threads of the screw begin wider apart, because the high density polyethylene is in full form, but as it gets rubbed against itself, it begins to melt. As the high density polyethylene moves through the screw the threads get thinner and thinner until the plastic is completely melted in which it is stored in front of the screw. When the maximum capacity for melted high density polyethylene is reached, the screw is hydraulically pushed forward and the plastic is shot at a high velocity into the mold. After it has hardened the product is removed.…

For my egg drop project I made a contraption with a garbage bag, yarn, cardboard, Popsicle sticks, and hot glue. First I cut a medium sized square out of cardboard. Then I stuck Popsicle sticks in the shape of a square with three sticks on each side. After that the sticks were hot glued to the card board from top and bottom. And in order for the egg to be seen from the bottom I had to cut a circular hole into the bottom of the piece of cardboard.…

The story begins when the rocket has just exploded and the crew is falling through space. They have space suits on, so they can breathe and talk to one another through a radio. They estimate that they have an hour or so to speak to one another before they drift too far apart. Hollis, the main character, is falling towards the Earth, while the Captain is falling towards the moon. They are all scared and Hollis kills one man who starts screaming uncontrollably because they cannot talk to one another on the radio while he screams. As they talk, at first they try to calm each other down, but then some of them become mean. Applegate tries to hurt Hollis by saying that he destroyed his career and Hollis lashes out at Lespere when he reminisces about the fulfilling life he has had. Afterwards, Applegate apologizes to Hollis and Hollis realizes that he has led an empty life. He wishes that he could do something to make up for it by helping someone. When he falls through the Earth‘s atmosphere he burns up like a meteor and a boy in Illinois thinks he is a falling star. His mother tells him to make a wish.…
