How to Score a for Add.Maths

Many people asked me why I can score an A for add.maths. Well, I just tell them that I go for tuition. But, that’s not all I did. So, today I’m going to review the secrets of how to score A for add.maths. First of all, GET A GOOD REFERENCE BOOK, some branded ones such as Pelangi or Longman or Shortman, it is always better to get at least 2 of them. In this way, you will have two different explanations and one of the explanations may make better sense to you than the other; or a combination of both will help you to “get it”. You must go through each and every example on how to solve the question. If you don’t understand, you should seek help from the pro ones, like me. Hehehehe Moreover, Add. Maths IS NOT SEJARAH. You can’t learn Add.Maths by reading your reference book like a novel! It’s useless to just read and memorize, UNDERSTANDING is the most important thing. The key is to pursue the mathematics actively and don’t think you can accumulate a mathematical education by simply reading a textbook. Think smarter is always better than think harder. We always know that practice makes perfect. Therefore, do as many practices as you can lay your hands on- even those beyond the class, like the SPM pass year questions. This will help you to understand the topic well. If there is any question you don’t understand, check out the example at your reference book or otherwise go ask the pro ones. However, I remind you, do many practice doesn’t mean you can score well. On the other hand, HOMEWORK GIVEN BY TEACHERS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE, although it’s a little bit too many. During exam, LEAVING YOUR ANSWER BLANK IS NOT AN OPTION! If you really don’t know how to deal with such difficult questions, try to understand what that question wants. If you can’t understand, don’t give up, try to think which chapter is it and what kind of formula you should use. If you really can’t think of anything, do other question first then come back later. I confess that my English standard is not very high and many of you here are superb in English. If I can understand the question, why can’t you? Subsequently, whenever you can, try your best not to use shortcuts. Although it saves time, you will make more careless mistakes. It doesn’t matter even if you solve the question in 1 whole page because it is safer and you could get marks from your working even though your answer is wrong. Some of the short questions may look easy. BUT I WARN YOU, DON’T BE TOO CONFIDENT UNTIL YOU DON’T WANNA READ THROUGH THE QUESTION. Some of this question may seem easy but it’s very tricky. So, remember check the question again although the question may look easy as you seem, makes sure you don’t be fooled by question. Last but not least, be well prepared and remember to bring your scientific calculator. Honestly, I don’t know what your problem is, but I believe that those tips are enough for you to score a better result for our next exam.
