Who says that you are not tougher and better and smarter and harder working and more able than your competitions, it doesn’t matter if they say you can’t do it, the only thing that matters is if your say it, so if you believe in yourself there is hardly anything that you can’t accomplish.
A goal is a dream with a deadline. In writing ,it is called SMAIT method.
Generally speaking, the SMAIT means that long term and short term goals are not only specific and measurable, but also identifiable, attainable, and can be accomplished in a reasonable amount of time.
In detail, S---specific. We should think it over before we are about to do. A specific goal should emphasize what you are faced with now or what you will be faced with. To make it specific, we can spare no efforts to what we are going to do.
M—measurable. Setting a goal with measurable index. To determine if you goal is measurable, ask questions such as how much? how many? How will I know when it is accomplished?
A&I—attainable&identifiable. When you identify goals that are most important to you, you should to figure out ways you can make them come true. That means ,first ,you ought to balance the weight of the goals, and then develop abilities ,skills to reach them.
T—timely. As the saying goes ”A goal is a dream with a deadline. ” we should set a deadline. Without a deadline ,there is no sense of urgency. That is to say, “someday” won’t work. If you set your goal grounded with a deadline, then you will set your absentminded mind into adhering to the goal.
Needless to say, if we set a goal which is too far out of our reach, you probably won’t realize it. If we set a goal we can’t measure it, we can’t manage it. If you don’t set a deadline for your goal, your commitment to your goal is too vague. In a word, everybody should set a goal in accord with the “SMAIT”method, thus your goal is not a dream, but a fact that is about to come
