My selection comes right before Nick meets Gatsby, and is succumbing to all the allure of Gatsby while at his party. He is drawn in by the immense amounts of alcohol and becomes roaring drunk. Then Gatsby strikes up a conversation with him, but Nick doesn’t know that it is the Gatsby, so they talk and then all the mystery of Gatsby disappears as Gatsby finally reveals himself with all the pomp and circumstance one could imagine.

How is that possible? The name of the book was The Great Gatsby, they couldn’t possibly kill off the main character. The one who has everything, but only wants one thing has to get that one thing right? No, I wouldn’t bite.
