In the 1980's when Alka was a teenager, she loved listening to music. The singer she said she would listen to the most often was Asha Boshle. She said that nowadays the only things that rap music mentions are money, girls, and drugs. “Rap music mentions a lot of gangster related things, and many young people are influenced by the lyrics.” Alka stated. In her opinion, rap music is also too fast. “Half of the time, you don’t understand the lyrics because the rappers are going too fast.” She said. Alka said her song would be “Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko” by Asha Boshle. “The title of the song means “you’ve stolen my heart”.
