The main character Tom Sawyer changed throughout the book. In the beginning of the book The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Tom was a very big trouble maker. There was a time he decided to skip school to go swimming, but then his aunt found and he had to white was the fence, but he found a way to get out of it, by tricking people to think it was fun work. like a ghost. Like the time we went to Jackson's Island and didn't tell his Aunt. Then he started to feel sad and homesick, so one night he decided to go back home to give his aunt a piece of wood that says that they are fine and not to worry.
Throughout seventh grade, I have changed academically, by improving in my MCA scores, last year I got a 41 and this year I went up by eight points and got a 48.
I was really proud of myself for going up by eight points. I also didn't really have an interest in social studies last year of the years before that. I would put off my work and not really pay attention. This year I really liked American Studies because, we got to learn about the world war one and two and I really enjoy learning about the wars. I have also worked really hard on keeping on top of things this year, by not getting missing work and getting good grades.
I have also changed socially and emotionally throughout seventh grade by, in the beginning of the year I was very shy and didn't really want to be there. But as the time went on I think I have at least grown some comfort into participating in class. I also think that I made a lot of new friends and hang out with some different people than in the beginning of the year. Like I used to sit at a lunch table with other friends, but know I sit with different people during lunch.
As you can see Tom Sawyer was a really big trouble maker in the beginning. But as the book went on his behavior changed throughout the book. Like Tom Sawyer I have made some academically, emotionally and socially changes. By hanging out with new people and working really hard to get good grades and have no missing
work.
