Civil Rights was never looked at by anybody not even the most progressive president Roosevelt. Although, Roosevelt did have some individual work with some African Americans. African Americans still didn’t get why they didn’t have civil rights because they fought for the U.S. and proved that they were a citizen but still didn’t get their rights. (I) They really didn’t like it when Woodrow Wilson came into power because he knew the “fundamental wrongs of society” but he was influence to get votes instead of doing whats was right. (F) As Woodrow Wilson was put into office he brought back segregation which did not make the African Americans and nor the North but it made the South happy. Segregation wasn’t stop until he was out of office and once segregation was over they were given civil rights. There is always a few setbacks to make any moves forwards and those were a couple of
