I was a late bloomer. Most kids my age learned how to read when they were 4 or 5. I, however, learned how to read at 8. The doctor explained that I would develop later than others because I was born severely premature. They also told my mom I wouldn't be able to walk until I was 3. but my family pushed so hard for me that I was able to walk on my 1st birthday. I was able to achieve everything other children my age could achieve at the average rate except reading. I couldn't read full sentences, and I would see a word but I couldn't pronounce it. I thought it was for punishment, but my mom was helping me develop my reading and vocabulary skills. Writing changed my life. I was never really the child that kept a diary, but writing helped me release my bottled up anger and frustration. I always had a large imagination. Letting out everything i thought of on paper makes me feel whole. I can express the way i feel without having to directly say it. Soon, my diaries turned into short stories about a girl like me living the life i wished i lived. During the years i have written a draft for two books that I hope will be published. One of my inspirations was Frankenstein, reading the series open my eyes to many other books and writing ideas. The next literature piece I am planning to read is “Dante’s
