An American businessman, Howard Schultz is the CEO and chairman of Starbucks. Schultz was born on July 19, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York. Howard Schultz went through difficult times and different types of challenges before becoming the chairman of the famous coffee company Starbucks, today he is considered a true entrepreneur.
Howard Schultz was born in a low-income family, so Howard dreamed about becoming successful one day because he watched his parents struggled many times with finding jobs. Well Starbucks not only offers their customers the chance to enjoy a quality coffee with their innovate system but also offers a great environment inside their stores. Starbucks is a store that offers the chance to sit, work, and relax, also to go in your way home, in a rush or just to talk. Howard says that Starbucks is a different company that brought a feeling of connection to customers. But how Howard did Starbucks environment so comfortable? When he was traveling in Milan and Italy he wanted to bring the idea of a coffee bar to America, where only fast food restaurants were offering a social environment. He has a team outside or inside in every Starbucks store, some are creating the new treading drinks, and others are selling their creations and providing customers their requests. Howard Schultz has a whole team backing him up everyday in his business.

I personally believe that Howard Schultz is really a true and complete entrepreneur. At first before the research I did about him, I knew a few things but I knew more of Starbucks than him. Then I realize why he is an entrepreneur, he really thinks and dreams bigger and higher than other businessmen, not only he cares for people but also he crated a new business that offers quality. Even though Howard Schultz was from a poor family he never gave up while growing up to overcome from his status and to became success. His family always supported him in his decision and they still are, but Howard say that he remember hearing people telling him “Don’t’ aim too high… you’re from Brooklyn”. Howard didn’t give up his dreams for the people who told him not to follow them, he didn’t listen to the people whom didn’t believe in him and did what he first love with none stopping.
