The Position
As a competent administrator the role holder will provide a comprehensive administrative support service for the HR & OD Team to delivery excellent services to staff and students.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provides administrative support to HR and Organisational Department in order to maintain accurate HR data systems and processes to ensure excellent customer service and the provision of a suite of timely and accurate HR metric data.
2. Coordinates all recruitment process (advertising, processing applications, preparing paper work and interview letters, booking venues and administrating assessment centres)
3. Acts as the first point of contact both on telephone and in person in dealing with a range of HR administration matters.
4. Provides accurate and timely advice and information on agreed standard HR practices, policies and procedures to managers and staff.
5. Processes accurately contractual / salary and wage variations and liaise with the payroll team in advising on salary/wage amendments and superannuation matters in time to meet any deadlines.
6. Processes all starters and internal recruitment including issuing and monitoring appointment letters, clearance checks, issuing Statements of Particulars, probation monitoring and induction monitoring.
7. Provides administrative support in relation to retirement, maternity leave, flexible working etc, liaising with internal and external service providers, processing documentation and updating databases.
8. Ensures that all DBS checks are up to date to maintain accurate records.
9. Maintains financial records for HR&OD and process financial information to ensure that budget are up to date.
