Customer demands and the rise in competition have caused many companies to focus on customer service and relations. Individual assessment provides information on which employees need training and what kind. A needs assessment is a wise investment for the organization.
It saves time, money and effort by working on the right problems. Determining the needs of employees is a significant aspect of human resource management process. Knowing

The needs assessment refers to determining whether training is necessary. Four Square Company should not waste money on training employees if they do not need the training. However, Four Square is training current employees how to become managers. In this case, training is clearly necessary. Needs assessment is extremely important to companies because it will help prevent training programs that have the wrong objectives. It will also help prevent money from being spent on training programs that are not necessary because they do not relate directly to the company’s business strategy. Four Square Company will use the “age and generation” needs assessment technique. The reasoning for this is related to the different age groups that the employees are at.
