The remaining primary functions of Human Resource Management, motivation and maintenance, in my opinion; are the most sensitive as well as rewarding to the entire work place. By encouraging team work and recognizing achievement, motivating employees drives them to put forth their best efforts and leads to longevity. Once an employee has developed a stable and positive role, maintaining that status is critical to production and the sustainment of the work place. It is very important the HRM department keep retention rates high, thus reducing turn over rates and building a strong and steady workforce. From the top to the bottom, functions of Human Resource Management nurture every role from applicant to long-term pillars of workflow.
