A number of similar theories and overall trends in what has been published about how the application of Human-Centred Design (HCD), Experience Deign (XD) and User Experience Design (UXD), can be more beneficial and improve car users experience in daily commutes by reducing users stress. This literature review will cover a wide variety of written works in relation to the problems that are faced by motorists and how processes similar to HCD, XD and UXD have solved such problems. According to Santhosh (2015: 14) the outcome of commuting to the work place from home contributes to how your state of being happy, healthy and prosperous is determined. Not only is commuting time consuming but it also impacts on stress which can affect commuter’s health conditions such as ‘heart rate and blood pressure’. It is hard to determine a person’s stress levels but with the correct methods of HCD, UXD and XD I can help me isolate the important aspects to focus on.

Even with the solution of improving the existence of devices that exist within a car, there is the possibility that is not the solution for all the users with in a car and rather focuses on the ‘secondary users’ which is back seat passengers. This is an informative example to show what elements can be used when conducting my research and creating my solution. This example is a potential method of solving the problem to reduce drivers
