Accidents that occur during parking results usually in minor car damages combined with major fines. According to Debbie Moore, a writer and blogger who focuses on parking related issues states that approximately one in every five car accidents occur in a parking lot. Moore also states that over 200 people were killed in parking related accidents in 2012 (Moore 1). Parking is not easy for many people due to parking lots that contain small compact spaces or little lighting that does not make it any easier for drivers to park safely. Parking is a big hassle that comes along with driving. Consumers are also less likely to pay for parking meters or for someone to valet their car when parking is hard to find.
