Business Management and Human Resources In the field of Human Resources and Business Management good strategies make a difference in the output of the employees. Human Resources involves managing people. A good organization can’t build a good team of working professionals without it. The key functions of the Human Resources team include recruiting people, training them, appraising performance, motivating employees as well as workplace communication, workplace safety, and much more. A good working condition is one of the benefits that the employees can expect from an efficient human resource team. A safe, clean and healthy environment can bring out the best in an employee. I have personally worked for a company that was very unsanitary, it was horrible. Every day as employee of the company I would wake to get ready to go with one thing on my mind if I where the manager or in human resources, I would make sure bathrooms and break rooms where cleaned daily. This may not be the biggest factor in human resources but it is one that has stuck in my mind all these years. Nobody wants to be somewhere it’s not clean or safe. Safety is another key in the human resources field there are all kinds of laws that govern how safety in the workplace should be a priority. One of the biggest laws is Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Employees have the right to work in a safe and healthy environment. Although human resources specialists are employed in nearly every industry, many are concentrated in employment services, working for staffing and human resources firms. Some travel extensively to attend job fairs, visit college campuses, and meet with applicants. Most work full time. Employment of human resources specialists is expected to grow 21%t from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations. Job opportunities should be good overall, especially in the employment services industry. The median annual wage of human resources
