But two of the most selfless, giving, caring people I have ever had the prviedge to meet. These two have matching souls and after so much giving back, they finally came to realize the gift they had in each other. Chris and his goofball sense of humor that makes his patients forget their troubles for a time, and his sultry, sassy, gorgeous little curly haired lady (seriously, those curls are to DIE for) who just makes you feel warm when she smiles, are a perfect match. The moment they both came to the same realization, it was a race to the alter to get their forever after party started. And rightfully so. …show more content…

Being ready for bridegroom looks to be Jesus underlying message in Matthew 25:1-13. Many Christians take the coming of the bridegroom as Jesus’ second coming; however, when Jesus first gave this parable, many of His followers believed Jesus was at the beginning of His reign on earth. They did not belief Jesus was going to die, rise again, and return to heaven. So, what was Jesus’ meaning for this story? While consulting many Bible commentaries, they all believe that Jesus’ message was be prepared for His coming. Jesus, at the time he gave this parable, knew he was going to die and leave His followers; even though, they did not want to believe the fact. Jesus was giving His followers this message to “keep watch, because you do not know…

Years ago, I never really took getting married seriously. For years, I was a bachelor and to be quite honest, I was having the time of my life. There were times when I felt the urge to settle down, but for the most part, I was quite content with life the way it was. There was no one to answer to, no one to be responsible for, and I pretty much came and went as I pleased. In my mind, single life was the best and I did not want to rush these times along. Sure, I knew I would marry eventually but I figured that I had a lot of time to do so. Also, I knew that if I had to marry, there was only one person that I could see myself settling down with and I had no idea if she was available.…

Every little girl dreams about her wedding day. This is the day when she meets her knight in shining armor and he whisks here away in her stunning white dress with every one looking on in envy of their love and happiness. That is every little girl but me. I despised the thought of marriage. My parents didn’t set the best example in any of their marriages, past and current. It always made me wonder why? Why would you want to marry someone when you knew it would end in divorce? How could you love someone so much but resent them? What was it that made them so unhappy? I grew up never seeing or knowing what a healthy relationship looked like. They only happened in the movies. For years I refused to get married. I even ended a five year relationship because the guy just wanted to marry me. Yes I loved him but I couldn’t bring myself to say yes. Now at the age of 30 some things have changed. I fell in love with Greg.…
