Topic: Reasons for decline of Islander population in the 19th century

It was believed that in the Pacific there a lot of conflicts happening in each island, diseases and more varieties of reasons which caused the decline of population in the nineteenth century. There are assumptions and debate from historians, missionaries, explorers and other people about depopulation and many evidences provided to support documents and articles. So, it is clear that there is decline of Islander population in the nineteenth century but it is difficult estimate and gives the exact number of people. Therefore, this essay will base on the three reasons including evidences from different places, books, people and website. These reasons are known as war, outward migration and diseases and lastly it will state the most convincing reason for declining.
Historians are very careful with their information and what to provide with supporting evidence to convince people that their story is believable and true. Regarding Francess he states that war is also the cause of depopulation in the nineteenth century in his island known as Federated States of Micronesia and also in other Pacific Island Countries War is commonly known as a fight between either people or countries for good reasons and sometimes bad reasons. There are some who fight to prevent invasion to their land and some who fight for invading other lands for more lands. During these fighting and war it involve murdering and violence because people were killed, child and older people because of greediness and hunger for power. For example, in Tarawa, Kiribati, there has been war happen in the 19th century which involves chiefs throughout this island for fighting over lands but it ends in 1892 when Captain Davis arrived. It is clear and vivid that when this chief fights each other for districts a lot of bloodshed has been seen. This
