The internet of things allows object controlled remotely across the existing network infrastructure, creating an opportunities for more direct communication between the physical world and computer based system using internet, resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy and economic benefits. Each things is uniquely identifiable through its embedded computing system within the internet infrastructure [1].
IOT’s technology can also be applied to create a new concept and wide development for smart homes to provide intelligence, comfort, security and to improve the quality of lifestyle. In this paper, we extend our previous work and present a low cost and flexible home control system and monitoring system using an embedded system and server for accessing and controlling devices remotely using Android based Smart phone application. IOT has great applications in the home automation, Military application, health care application, security …show more content…
The main characteristic of IOT is device to device communication. Communication between this Devices is done autonomously without any centralized control and collaborate to gather, share, and forward information in a multihop manner [7]. This paper proposed to approaches for device to device communications. Device to device communication is an integral part of the IOT environment to design, Deploy and maintain a sustainable IOT ecosystem. Ultimately, to develop and maintain an intelligent environment is dependent on how smart the connected devices are and the quality of data they are able to gather. In this paper they have proposed two approaches for D2D Communication such as Network-Infrastructure-Dependent D2D Communication and Network-Infrastructure-Independent D2D Communication. They also explained Stochastic/ Probabilistic, Bioinspired, Hierarchical and Context-Aware algorithm used for Device to Device communication. This system will not give solution to the problems such as Communication Resource Optimization, Optimized Route Discovery and Management, Optimized Route Discovery and Management and security
