I believe it is marxism because marxism has to do with the hierarchy between all the main characters they all have a certain role. The reason Iago jealous of cassio is the fact that he is othello's right hand man and othello is general of the army of venice and he chose cassio to be his lieutenant and fight by his side.
This created a conflict between Iago and cassio because iago wanted Cassio’s position but he wanted them both to suffer and he planned out to seek revenge on Othello by using his love for Desdemona by planting the handkerchief in the possession of roderigo and saying that Othello's wife was a whore. He knew that if he didn’t show any signs of emotions towards her that she would try to find a way to grab his attention and just as he planned she came running to get his attention and at the moment he gave her desdemona’s handkerchief she got what she wanted and so did he.
There was quite a few feminist remarks in this story one of the many is when iago knows that Emilia wants to be with him so he uses her to do things a guy wouldn't be able to do, but since he’s the man in the relationship emilia has to do what he says desdemona and emilia conversate in this same scene before it happens.
