Q1. Identify the type of e-commerce applied by Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd. The type of e-commerce applied by Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd is Business to consumer (B2C). Business-to-consumer is an Internet and electronic commerce model that represent a financial transaction or online sale between business and consumer. It is involves retail transactions between business and individual consumers. Product catalogues are displayed on the website for consumer to choose what they want and what they would like to buy. For example from the case, "Detailed product information, pictures and price are listed in the e-catalogue and grouped into major categories such as home appliances, kitchen and small appliances ,televisions and videos, audio and home threats, computers and accessories ,digital cameras, Smartphone and tablets. This enables customers to find product easily.""The shopping cart facility is also provided for convenience of customers."which mean, the customer can put their favorite products into the shopping cart and purchase it. "After the products are added into the shopping cart, various secure payment options are available for customers. For each successful order, a tracking number will be given to the customer to tack the status of their order."it show the Senheng online store through the internet to finish the transaction between business and individual consumer and at the same time the online store also protect the consumer information and give them a tracking number to confirm their order. Those example show the type of e-commerce applied by Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd is Business to consumer (B2C).
