If I were president of Vietnam, I would change a series of recent laws. In my opinion, the most important thing that leads to the lives of happy residents is the laws. Of course, it must be a very strict law instead of a lax law which is not enforced
First of all, I would ban alcohol. As far as I know, most of the accidents and crimes are related to alcohol. The drunk are usually out of control and don’t know what they are doing. The other option would be people could drink alcohol, but if they made any mistake when they were drunk, they would never be allowed to drink again. If they were caught drinking, they would be fined or put in jail
Second, I would ban violence on women. Anyone accused of violent acts on women would go to jail. I don’t want the existence of “The men are dominating” anymore. Women should be seen as equal to men. Most of the Vietnamese women are very patient and sustained, but they are usually abused and bullied. However, no matter what is happening, they still take care of their children and will never give up. I want them to be respected as they deserve
Last but not least, anyone who makes a mistake will go to jail even if it’s just a small mistake like pickpocking. The more dangerous mistake he makes, the longer he will be in jail. I know this law sounds unrealistic, but nothing we can’t do. Although, it maybe hard to obey at first, it doesn’t matter if you don’t do any wrong. Basically, it is based on our morals.
