It is well said that ‘relationship is an invisible bond between the two or many souls on the ‘subconscious’ level’ and it takes days, months and years to form.
The term ‘doctor-patient relationship’ is quite popular in general and there are many debates, opinion constantly happening on this subject when either of them suffer because of the ‘crack’ in this bond. Why it has so much of importance when it is understood that doctor is supposed to do only ‘good’ to the patient and patient is always in need of the ‘good’ doctor….yes here is the catch… The word ‘good doctor’ is a subjective phenomenon and here is all the mess happening in the society….

What makes you a good doctor in the eyes of the needy that visit you for advice / cure? 1. Doctor needs to be very social , not having commercial appearance, should be calm listener, intelligent, experienced, having ‘name’ in the society …… (The correct word is ‘market’…… but it goes against the ethics). 2. Doctor should be ‘available’ as and when patient need like a ‘shop keeper’ to avail daily needs ….. but every patient wants special attention, sufficient time till all the questions ‘scientific/unscientific’ are answered and privacy, too. 3. Doctor to honour all appointments in time but patient may not come in time even reminder call going to him from the reception ….. though appearing too commercial nowadays…. The moment a call from Doctor’s office goes to a patient, it is taken as if the Doctor is ‘more in need’ than the vice versa. 4. Doctor should talk to many of the family friends located across the Globe to satisfy their queries and offer constant update on the patient’s health. 5. Doctor should not charge for the review of the reports, certificates, medical fitness forms etc. 6. Doctor (here the Specialist) should come to the Hospital immediately if
