ABSTRACT
The primary of delegation of authority is to make organization possible just as one person in an enterprise can do all the task necessary as an enterprise grows for the manager to exercise all the authority for making decisions. This is so because there is a limit to the number of persons Managers can effectively supervise and for whom they can make decisions. Once this limit is exceeded authority has to be delegated to subordinates. This work explained and explored the nature of authority delegation in an organization structure using a case study. Also efforts were made to identify the principles underlying authority delegation, important factors fostering, the purpose of delegation roles and effect delegated authority were also includes. The problems militating against authority delegation was also recommendations were also used put forth. Both primary and secondary data were also for the work. Visits were made to the organization specialized liberties. It was generally discovered that delegation of authority has great impact on organization growth.
