Impact Of Love In A Midsummer Night's Dream By William Shakespeare

Love is a beautiful thing, it is the feeling that some people get when they want to be with someone forever. Shakespeare was born in Stratford, England, his dream of becoming a play writer came true. That lead to Shakespeare establishing his acting company The King’s Men. Late in his career he creates a play about love called “A Midsummer Nights Dream” Shakespeare creates this play to show the impact that love has on people including the four lovers: Lysander, Demetrius, Helena and Hermia. Shakespeare uses the four lovers and their actions to his advantages and the disadvantages that love has. Eyes are a window to out soul, some people can tell a lot from someone’s eyes, including love. Along with showing how much you love someone, so does
True love brings Hermia and Lysander back together. Hermia and Lysander ran off to the woods so that they could be together, and so that Hermia doesn’t have to be a nun, or get killed. When Puck puts the potion on the eyes of Lysander, he wakes up and then is in love with Helena instead of Hermia. In the end, the spell is broken and they all wake up in the woods. They have no idea how they got there. They all think that they woke up from a crazy dream. All of the lovers wake up from there “dream” and then realize that they actually love each other. Helena just thought that they were mocking her because know one loved her. Then when the spell was unbroken the “Fair Helena in fancy following me…my love to Hermia, Melted as is the snow, seems me now…Now I do wish it, long for it, And will for evermore be true to it.” (IV, i, 164-166, 175-176) At the beginning of the story Demetrius loved Helena but then found that Hermia had more money, so Demetrius ditches Helena for Hermia. Demetrius has the potion is her eyes than when the spell was released he realized how much he actually liked her. Titania and Oberon at first were having a hard time because Titania won’t give Oberon the Indian boy. Titania loved bottom when puck but the potion on her eyes. Oberon woke Titania up and then asked for the Indian boy and she gave it to him because she was horrified by the dream. Through the story Oberon and Titania have loved each other the whole time but Titania never knew it. Then at the end once again the 3rd couple was able to live happily ever after. The four lovers, Titania, and Oberon all end up with their true love in the end of this inspiring play because they
