With there being more trains, guns, ammunition, ships, and other revolutionary supplies, it helped them get above the rest of the world. Nationalism didn’t help because everyone thought that his or her own cultural, economic and military was supremacy. So when everyone stated land grabbing just so the others wouldn’t get it peoples feathers started to get ruffled.
