A main problem that was occurring was child labor, machines were being created more workers were going to be needed in order to get jobs accomplished. Factories would be a dangerous place for children to work. There would be consequences to the children if they were to disobey the rules or if they would show up late. In an article that I was reading there was a quote that a child named John Fairbrother during the Industrial Revolution said about child labor it stated, “I have seen my master, Luke Taylor, with a horsewhip standing outside the mill when the children have come too late………he lashed them all the way to the mill.” This quote said so much about child labor it mentioned how children would be whipped just or being late, this has later improved greatly because we do not punish …show more content…
