Dr. Kalam’s Way of Teaching for Today’s Students - Vision to Mission
Teachers are next to parents for the students. Each faculty member should be a role model for the students in both academic and personal life. Teachers shape the pupil to play a range of roles in their life which will help them not only to get a job but also to make a good society as a superior human being. Our University comprises fifty four departments almost all are research departments. More than 20,000 students including M.Phil and Ph.D. research scholars are here to take up their degrees. Kalam’s Way of Teaching for Today’s Students - Vision to Mission’ for faculty members intends to address various opportunities and realities to educate the pupil through the dreams, words and life of Dr. Kalam.
Objectives:
1. To strengthen the inter-personal skills to provide quality education to today’s students.
2. To provide the best opportunities to build the young students and scholars into the responsible high-quality citizens.
3. To inspire and motivate the faculties from different layer of society.
Significance of the Study:
The Present world became more competitive for the students community. Higher education plays an imperative role in shaping the students to compete this competitive world. Universities and colleges are the platform for the students to learn and to live with independence and social responsibility than they have ever before. Universities and colleges have designed the curriculum to impart the subject knowledge for the students. But on another side the social responsibility and the way to live are also to be imparted for them by the faculties. Therefore the faculty members should undergo the training to enrich their knowledge to educate the students in the way of Kalam. This training program will also facilitate the faculty to share their vision with experience. We would like to organize a training program for two days on 09/09/2015 and 10/09/2015 under the staff training and development centre (IQAC) for our university faculty member on “Dr. Kalam’s way of teaching for Today’s Students - Vision to Mission”. This training program will be an encouragement for the all faculty member in our university. Herewith we have enclosed a detailed proposal and schedule of training program with budget for your kind consideration.
