The unit task is refer to the job task given to trainee. After completing the task, trainee had come out with task to be analyse on it. This analysis is very important because some of the important task required corrective action from the higher authority. At the same time, the purpose of having the analysis is to understand the concept of administration within the organisation itself. The purpose of industrial training been made is to expose student with the real working environment to make sure they are early prepared before be a permanent workers or employees. The Liaison Unit and Industrial Training was function to manage student affairs as good as possible. Student giving freedom to choose their internship place whether in public or private sector for 22 weeks (one semester) to have a different atmosphere from the institution of polytechnic. So the responsible of the Liaison unit and Industrial Training was to ensure the journey of the student are smooth by reduce circumstances along the preparation of the organisation. So that why the procedure of the liaison unit is divided into three phrase which are preparation before the internship, on-going internship and after the internship. In the first phrase before the internship, the students required to send their application form for registration to liaison unit. At the same time student need to inform to chosen firm whether the firm took internship student or not. So the liaison unit need to process the application and keep updating it in the SPMP. In the on-going phrase is where as the students is in the firm having their internship, the liaison will review and keep updated if there is any problem happened during student internship. The
In the Liaison Unit and Industrial Training, the main task is managed the internship student. So the post mortem must been made as to analyse the internship of student result. Trainee had been assigned by the supervisor, Sir Zulfadli to prepare a report entitled ‘Laporan Analisis Pencapaian Objektif Latihan Industri’. The content of the report analysis is the statistical measurement on the students result and according to the department. The objective the report analysis to achieve 100 percent students past their internship in order to enable them grade on time without extend. Meaning to say that trainee need to come out with actual and percentage of student fail and past the internship for each department. This report must be produce by this unit since the result will be discuss during audit soon. The evaluation for each department can be done and the statistical data clearly stated the result can be improve from time to time through stage by stage improvement from the department itself.
