Fatigue, fever, diarrhea, swollen Lymph nodes, muscle soreness and joint pain, frequent vaginal yeast infections, sore throat, headache, and skin rash (Dugdale, 2012, p. 1).
III. The Mode of Transmission
HIV infection can be transmitted when blood, semen, or vaginal fluids from an infected person enter another persons body (Kaletra, 2013, p. 1) through:
a. Sexual contact
b. Infected needles or syringes can be contaminated with blood
d. Mother to child through birth or breastfeeding

a. always use condoms
b. know if your partner has had a past sex history that could put you at risk reduce the number of your sexual partners (ideally to one) medicines available to reduce the risk of getting HIV (WebMD, 2011, p. 1).
Be honest with your partner if you have HIV before putting them at risk
