Influences on Child Behavior Have you ever gone out in public lately either by yourself or with other people and really observe the way the children of today act? Many devices today cause poor behavior. We often see children doing violent actions in a hand full of places, such as restaurants, grocery markets, shopping malls, and other public areas. One obvious argument is that child behavior has changed now compared to the way it was several years ago. Sadly, the change is not for the better, it is actually a change for the worse. Behavior in kids has without a doubt gotten out of control over the past couple of years and it is quite painful to witness. The lack of respect for elders, as well as people in authority has dramatically changed in particular. Kids in this present era are not only arrogant, but also have no consideration for other people it seems like. The “other” people are often the kid’s parent(s), which is extremely shocking. In fact, some children think they can control their parents and authority like it is perfectly okay but are the parents and families actually the ones to blame for the madness? Personally, I believe that children’s behavior has definitely gone down hill compared to how it previously was and I strongly think that the cause of this problem comes back to the family that they come from and the environment that they grow up in.

Not only did they teach me manners and etiquette, they taught me right from wrong. Kids from our present decade seem to lack these things. If I wanted something, I was forced to say please and thank you in order to receive whatever it was that I wanted. When I go out in public
