History shows that viral chickenpox caused many problems for us with its symptoms difficulty to cure, and its way of spreading.
There is a lot of history about chickenpox but the biggest part is Port Jackson. This is where chickenpox’s outbreak happened. One person on a boat coming from England came to the America’s. This person had chickenpox. Everyone on the boat got this because of the bad living conditions. The stagnant water of the ocean made everyone wet and cold which left them vulnerable to this disease. slept in quarters that were so close that it made it easy for this disease to spread. When they landed and everyone was getting off they infected more people which started the spread of thousands of people. This caused people not to be able to do anything to help their families or their jobs. This also gave people lifetime scars on their body which ultimately affected them of getting another job in the near future. People today still get chickenpox but are still worried for this reason. One reason is that big cities now are so close and can make spreading a disease very easy. This is why this disease spreads just as fast if not faster than back when the outbreak first happened. One person getting this disease can cause many other people to get this disease. The vaccine doesn’t always protect the person so anybody could get this disease and if they don’t know bad stuff could happen. One wrong person getting this disease could cause major problems for a bunch of people who just walked beside you. This was a big thing back in the 18th century. People had no defense against this disease that was dangerous to many. They had no vaccines to defend against this disease. None of the remedy helped get rid o0ff this disease making it to where they had to sit there and live through it. This disease wasn’t the biggest but it still caused many problems for some people. Everyone was scared of this disease because of how it worked. It gave them red dots which they thought was a sign of smallpox. One version of the remedy they did was soak them in water so that they didn’t itch as much. Another big thing is that the vaccine does a lot to keep this disease away and if someone does get it this it also weakens it ability to hurt.
This causes the disease to slowly die of in their body. Another way of treatment is the non evasive which is a worse way but can still help if no way to get the vaccine. One way is covering the infected the infected part in wet cloths this helps dial down the itching so it doesn’t start to bleed. The best ways of treatment is the vaccine because it ultimately does more for your body and causes the disease to be less affective. The noninvasive is still not a bad idea but the vaccine would be a smarter route. The noninvasive will help out with the minor symptoms like the itching because of the wet cloths. This disease gives you symptoms ahead of time so that they know it is coming. If someone has dots on them they could have this disease about to go off. If they had a disease lately then this disease could harm them indefinitely. If a baby gets this disease then someone needs to get them to medical help because of this can cause major birth defects. If also pregnant this can cause your baby to be harmed or even die if sever enough. Many kids grow up with chickenpox birth defects because their parents not thinking that chickenpox can hurt
them. This disease spreads virally which means that it spreads through breathing or saliva. Touching something like this has a high chance of giving it to you. In big cities viral diseases spread like fires. Everyone is so close because of the crowded subways and the buses. With also having a lack of hygiene everyone is defenseless unless they have the vaccine. With everyone how they are now this disease spreads just as bad if not worse than in did back in the 18th century. People who are less considerate cause major problems for those who try and help the cause of stopping this disease. People without knowing give these people who did nothing a disease that stops them from going on with their normal life for a bit. If these people accidentally give this to a baby, the baby could have lasting effects on its body. The baby could have lifelong scars or even have a damaged immune system which causes major problems. Little choices like going to walmart real quick can hurt a bunch of people. In conclusion, I think that chickenpox is very dangerous, hard to cure, historical, and a spreadful disease that is still affecting people today
