Informative Essay: The War On Terrorism

The war on terrorism, when we hear the word “war” we usually think about the soldiers that are dying, millions of dollars we are spending, and to have complete control of the world. However, the war can bring many good things to the United States like creating many jobs for the United States economy. The United States has been in many of wars in the past century, but the war we now face today in the Middle East has been going on for about 11 years. It is one of those topics that can be controversial to the public on the war on terrorism. Some of the questions about the war: Is it good to have war?, or is it bad to have war?, what are we gaining from the war?, and what are we losing from the war? I think the war on terrorism has gone too far when it comes to the United States military because the war we are fighting right now is never going to end and it is not going to stop the enemies
The war can create many jobs for soldiers, factory workers, shipyard workers, etc.; due to the war going on. The jobs can bring in more money for the United States to help our economy out. However, the main purpose on war is to capture/kill highly dangerous terrorist leaders in the war on terrorism and possibly some other things that they don‘t want you to know either. The good thing about war is to stop the spread of terrorism in the world, but obviously it isn’t going to stop it forever. War can bring in new allies in support of the war, which is good for us for future support. Another reason why war is good is to make dictators of countries step down from their regime because they have probably been leader for 20 plus years due to the passing of their family; while having absolute power of the people and more money to keep them as leader.
