A. Attention getter: Imagine yourself on a white sandy beach far away from all the books and term projects due this week or the next. Away from the crowded elevators, busy streets and crowded train rides. Now imagine yourself surrounded by thousands of people screaming and shouting out of joy, watching colorful floats pass you by. You find yourself moving along with the music playing and just can’t help yourself. This is just something you would probably experience if you were to spend a night in Brazil.
B. Thesis: Brazil is a country known for its vibrant, colorful and lively culture. It has a lot to offer, from its great one of a kind vacation spots to the captivating sound of the music.
C. Speaker’s Relevant Statement: The culture and language of Brazil have captivated my attention since I was a young girl. A friend of mine traveled to Brazil this summer and shared with me some of her discoveries of this beautiful country. D. Preview Statement: I will be sharing some of the things that I consider to make Brazil the country that it is. First I will give you a general overview of Brazil. Then I will begin to explain the amazing sights that one would expect to see if you were ever to travel to Brazil. To conclude I will share with you the unique culture of Brazil and what makes this country so intriguing.
II. Main Point #1 Topic Sentence: For starters Brazil is a country located in South America.

With this Brazil landed fifth largest country in size and population in the world. Its largest populated city is Sao Paola, even though the country’s capital is Brazilia.
B: Brazil is very unique in the way that it is one of few countries to have a women president. Brazil elected its first female president, Dilma Rousseff on October 31.
