I love the creating with makeup as there are no wrong or rights and the possibilities are endless. I am fascinated with the products constantly coming to the market my mum's credit card probably won't agree. Wearing the right makeup gives people an extra boost of confidence because there is no discrimination and every gender, religion and skin colour are not excluded.

I was first introduced to makeup when I was in preschool and I got the limited edition Barbie pallet with blue, green and of course many shades of pink and glitter lots and lots of glitter. Today my goal is to show you 10 simple steps that are the base of my everyday street makeup which is my go-to look.
Before I start my demonstration on my model I will explain the foundations for a no-fail makeover
1: base
2: Sculpting and highlight
3: Finishing touches
Before I get started I will explain what makeup is.
The definition of makeup is cosmetic such as lipstick or powder applied to the face, used to enhance or alter the appearance. Thankfully, we've come a long way from the days of using toxic and deadly mixtures to enhance our looks.
Nowadays products are natural, animal testing free and there are many vegan products which benefit your skin rather than destroying it.
Now for the fun stuff, I am only doing half Bens face to show the effect makeup has.
Step #1 Primer, I am using a marc Jacobs primer which retails for $68. Primer is a base for foundation or face makeup that allows it to go on smoother and last longer. I will apply this to half bens face.
Step #2 Foundation, I am using a Mac foundation blended together to get Bens skin colour this retails for $60. Foundation is used to give a natural glow and to cover up impurities. With this orange sponge which is called a beauty blender, I will lightly dab it into Bens skin until it looks natural. All of these products that I use can be found at Mecca Maxima or
Sephora.
Step # 3 Concealer, This is the concealer I am using by Kat Von D that costs $37. Concealer is mainly used to cover dark circles under the eyes but is also used to brighten dark parts of Bens face. I will again be taking the Beauty blender to blend this into his skin.
Step #4 Bronzer This is a two-faced product which is $47 and pretty self-explanatory as it is used just to give you a Hawaiian glow.
Step #5 Highlight!! I will be using another Mac product retailing for $65 this product is used to give you a natural shimmer and sparkle.
Step #6 Blush I am using a two-faced blush retailing $41. Now blush can make or break a look it could make you look slightly rosy in the cheeks or could look like Elmo.
Step #7 Brows This is an NYX product which is $13 used to fit Bens eyebrow colour. This is used to sculpt and define Bens brows.
These products I have stated are just the ones I have personally loved but there is no stopping you going to the two dollar shop and getting a foundation for a dollar or a $100 Gucci foundation
Step #8 Eyeshadow I am using my favourite brand Kylie Jenner cosmetics with a $64 pallet. Eyeshadow can do anything from making your eyes look bigger to smaller or giving them a natural looking shine to being completely matte.
Step #9 Mascara here we are going to try a blue $38 Marc Jacobs mascara on the tips of Bens lashes for a frosted look.
Step #10 Lipstick this is used to pull the whole look together and yet again I am using Kylie Jenner cosmetics retailed at $37 this really pulls together the entire look. The best thing about it is that it is permanent .
Ben take a walk around the class and show everyone your stunning makeup look. For me makeup is a way to show everyone every version of me and as Coco Chanel said: " Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself". Thanks
