So, for the first three to six days you won’t be able to feel any symptoms because it's in the incubation period. After the incubation period it goes into it's acute phase and you will have experience some of these symptoms: fever, headache, muscle aches, mainly in your back and knees, vomiting and/or nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, and red eyes, face, or tongue. Now usually these signs are gone in a couple of days but, some people keep the acute phase and follow on to the more toxic phase. The toxic phase includes symptoms such as: yellowing of the skin, jaundice (yellowing of the eyes), abdominal pain and vomiting (sometimes with blood), slowness of the heart rate, liver and kidney failure, delirium, seizures, and possibly comas. There is no medication that is effective enough for yellow fever. The treatment mainly consists of supportive care in a hospital. To prevent from getting the disease you can get a vaccination so if you travel to a place where the disease is obtainable you can be safe if you come in contact with any of the pesky mosquitos! On top of that, get some bug spray to spray on your arms and legs so the mosquitos have a lesser chance of biting at you, which gives you a lesser chance of picking up the disease. You can also get a certain type of candle called citronella candles, that are made to keep bugs
