Lucille Monologue
I decided it's time. I stepped foot outside, breathed the cool air and started walking . . . It's been aver a week. I'm weak and frail. I was walking down a street, I have never heard of. I saw a place called, Cooks Coffeehouse, weird, I heard this name somewhere before. I look through the window and decide to open the door. I stepped in and spotted a girl my age, maybe, she walks over to me and asks me if i'm ok. She takes me back to the kitchen, and she told me her name was Mattie. She soon learned mine, Margaret, also known as Maggie.

Mattie goes downstairs to get the tea and Lucille calls me over, “Maggie, I have a secret to tell you.” By now, I thought she had gotten dizzy. Her eyes were yellow and so was her face. Lucille talks in a slurry, unstable voice.

“Mattie,” I started. “There's something I need to tell you. I, uh, oh nevermind.” I was going to tell her the truth but couldn't get the words out.
“What? Spit it out! I'm not a child! I can handle whatever you have to say . . . Even if you were going to say. To say . . . She's dead!” Mattie ran to the kitchen. Eliza and I gave her a few minutes before we go talk to her.
“Mattie i'm sorry, but, if, you know, Mother passes, then-” Mattie's eyes lit up.
“Mother? Did you just say mother?” Mattie was suspicious.
“Yep I did!” I hoped Mattie was catching on.
“So you're telling me that-” Mattie practically
