Thesis: To inform the audience on how to save money using coupons.
Would you walk past a $50 bill lying in the road? If I hadn't used my coupons and strategic shopping methods, I would have paid $50 more than I did on my last shopping trip. Isn't that the same thing? As an average shopper every week you go to the grocery store looking up and down the isles for the items you need. There are always long lines and you always seem to forget something. You get home and realize you paid more than last week and went over your allotted monthly budget. Shopping trips should be focused. This will give you the opportunity to plan meals. There are online applications to make this easy for you. At monthlymealplanner.com you can custom create a chart for the entire month and it also gives you ideas and recipes that you can use.
A. According to themealplanner.com some of the benefits of having a plan are; you will eat out less, eat less pre packaged meals, will have the groceries you need, waste less, eat healthier, and be able to provide your family with a variety of meals.

help maximize you savings.
1- You can combine store coupons and manufacture coupons with the sale price to get the item for the best value.
2- Most stores will also allow you to use coupons on marked down or clearance items.
3- Creating a stockpile of frequently used items when the item is on sale is the best way to keep cost down, as sales for the same or similar items come about every 3 months.

Personally use coupons.com, coupon mom.com and facebook. Most retailers have a facebook page and offer coupons and frequent giveaways of free products.
III. Stocking up on food items will help you lower the amount of items you have to purchase each week. When you see that you have saved 70% or more each week you will be a happy shopper. Take extra time to prepare for shopping trip. You will have less impulse buying.
A. You will notice that you will get to purchase all of the new items on the market at a fraction of the retail cost.
