Inspiration portrays Black Anna as a motivated by an angle to use a scythe and reap attack against her cruel world. The figures take up the whole print. The angelic like figure is behind her and appears to hover over her. The figure displays power over Anna because it engulfs her. The angelic like figure reaches across Anna’s body causing a parallel effect which also denotes it having power over her. The other arm is upon Anna’s shoulder which once again represents influential power over her. The bottom portion of the figure seems to constrain her and look as if they form legs that are metamorphosis into one another. The positioning of the angelic like figure, elements; along with the angelic like face’s not being displayed may attribute to the figure being a figment of Anna’s imitation. The altered uses of texture, line, and light profoundly distinguish Anna from the angelic like figure which cause her to seem more rural and darker. Her body, excluding her face is formed using a dabbing engraving. This is seen in her dress which is covered with an attire of small dots. The
