II. Subject Matter
Topic: The four kinds of Adjective Poem: Those Winter Sundays by Robert Hayden
III. Lesson Proper A. Hearing of Poem
The teacher gives the poem to the students that are recorded. They will hear it twice. B. Recitation of Poem
The teacher will let the students to recite the poem. After the recitation, they will give their own interpretation of the poem. (Reader-Response Theory). C. Review of Spelling Words
The teacher will ask the students to spell the difficult words in the poem. Students will check their words. D. Review
It will be form of a game. The teacher will ask the students to get the hidden paper under their chair. The students will say what kind of noun the word is. E. Activating Prior Knowledge
From the words written in the paper, they will give description to the words. The teacher will ask the part of speech that describes noun. F. Motivation
The teacher will present a video. The students will jot down at least five describing words that they will see in the video. Students will give their reaction about the video and the lesson that they learned. G. Objectives
The teacher will ask the students to give objective for the lesson. The first student will call somebody to give the next objective. H. Initial Activity
The teacher will discuss the lesson through powerpoint. The teacher will ask the students to give example for the lesson. I. Learner-Centered Activity
The students will be asked to describe the pictures using the adjectives that they learned. After this, the teacher will give worksheet to the students. J. Valuing Part 1.
