Integrity Definition Essay
In today’s day and age, people define integrity as a form of honesty. Merriam-Webster defines integrity as “the quality of being honest and fair”. Integrity’s Latin root is integritatem which Etyonline.com defines as “soundness, wholeness, blamelessness” which suggests there is a deeper meaning to integrity. Perhaps for something to have integrity it must be true to itself, fair, never breaking, complete, and always honest. Originally integrity was used to describe a person who would never reveal a secret, who had great honor and would never cross anyone. Nowadays the word integrity is employed more freely in describing the wholeness of of people and creations. For example, a film can surrender its integrity when the audio is expunged. Integrity
