I feel that as long as intermediate sanctions are carried out accordingly in terms of punishment being fit for the individual and equal to the crime that was committed. I would consider this form of punishment appropriate to the nature in which these programs provide wrongdoers with the services that is needed to rehabilitate ones negative ways of behaving within society.
