Technology is a very big concept which consumes televisions, telephones, cell phones, computers and Internet etc. If we examine the effects of the technology on the relation of people, we must specify which technology we are talking about. Before explaining which technology which is selected for this paper, we must explain the meaning of the communication. Communication is a type of transfer which is related information between entities. People began to use telephones in the beginning 20th century and they began to use televisions at 1950s. But, they were not affected so much from these technologies as the Internet. It means Internet affected communication of people more than from the television and the telephone. Most researchers and social scientists debate the effects of the Internet. Some of them think these effects are positive some of them think negative. (Kraut, Lundmark, Patterson, Kiesler, Mukopadhyay, and Scherlis 1998) After personal computers are begun to use in home environment their price are decreased, their capacity are increased. So Internet provides more communication chance. Although people live different areas and they have most physical obstacles, Internet breaks up all of these negative factors. Thanks to Internet, people can communicate on the social network, because they have equal distance to all people with the Internet. People, who support these ideas, think Internet provides people to use different social network web sites and these networks support people have mutual sharing. If we think people use Internet for the communication, the most popular applications are e-mails, social network web sites and messengers. In that way, people do not pay for communication so much and destroy geographical distance. Internet provides socialization more than the television, so it is more like the telephone.
