1.0 Introduction
Technology grows fast and there are advancements that develops and life is getting better because of it. Technology made every task as easy as possible and nothing seems too tiring if human tasks are aided with technology. It can be applied in any aspects of life. For us, we will use technology for the development of our so-called FACULTY MONITORING SYSTEM.
Our system will not only help our fellow students but also our professors and school administrators. Some students experience problems in which they will have to seek their professor's help. This will help them especially if there are things they need to consult their professor about projects or other activities. As for the professors it will help them because it contains information about their schedule and their room where they need to teach.
1.1 Background of the study
A Historical Background of Montessori Professional College
The NAME MONTESSORI PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE is derived from Maria Montessori of Italy who was the first Italian woman physician famous in developing educational materials and methods based on her belief that children learn best by doing, not by positively accepting other people's ideas and preexisting knowledge. This was considered to be an innovative concept. Also, this idea of learning used to promote active personal pursuit of many different experiences: Physical, social, emotional, and cognitive. With these materials Montessori devised an environment in which such learning could be created. And thus, she opened her first school in 1907. Since then, Montessori schools spread throughout Europe, Canada, United States of America, Australia and Asia, also in the Philippines. The President and its founder; DaniloMagsinoDy, founder of Montessori Professional College has quite a number of accomplishments in his life- as a businessman, as a politician, as a philosopher and most of all, as an educator.     Maria Montessori was the founder of the Montessori approach to education, she was born in Italy in 1870. As a teenager she was an engineer, but later she studied her favor major of medicine. Graduated as Italy's first female medical practitioner she embarked on a career in mental health. Following on from this she was asked to head up a childcare project for a social housing initiative and her first 'Children's House' opened in 1907. Here too she introduced the equipment she had designed and observed the children very closely as they used it, tailoring what she provided in the environment to meet their developmental needs. There was great astonishment at the amount of learning that these pre-school children showed themselves to be capable of, not least their explosion into 'writing'. From this time onward education became her life and she continued to develop educational theories to fit what she observed among the children in her care.     All animals require a food source to survive, where and when they get their food is determined on availability and natural selection. Flat periwinkle snails are small marine snail that is part of the “Littorinidae” family. They are typically found on seaweed that grows off the shores of New England (Britannica). Predators bring out the best traits in a species which helps future generations. Periwinkle snails have several predators, but one of the main ones it the green crab. The green crab is not native to North America, instead it was introduced during the 1800’s via ships arriving at Cape Cod from Europe (Washington Dep.). These crabs have caused many problems, they rapidly spread and they are theorized to have caused the major decline in “soft shell fishery”. This experiment was used to study and understand the impact green crabs have on the periwinkle snail population as well as observe any evolutionary traits that are carried onto the next generation. These snails have only one line of defense against the crabs—their shells. Biologist Robin Seeley discovered this rapid morphological transition by comparing a museum shell collection from 1871 to shells she collected from the same area. Her study shows how rapidly the periwinkle snails evolved. Seeley’s work demonstrated that prior to the green crabs arriving in North America, periwinkle snails’ shell thickness averaged out as “thin” with the majority of the population having the same shell thickness. Her work later showed that after green crabs were introduced shell thickness rapidly changed. In about 80 years, shell thickness double with the population having a wide range of thickness (Seeley).…
