INTRODUCTION
I. Background of the Study The red rice beans have the best medicinal qualities of all beans. 16th century herbalist/physician Li Shizhen wrote this about the red rice bean: “induces the production of good fluid, facilitate urination, reduces swelling, stops vomitting; To be used to treat diarrhea, alcohol intoxication; Helps to get rid of the swellings of winter fires, stops pus and dilutes the blood, induces milk flow…”. Unlike all the beans mentioned above, red rice beans are not eaten and are considered as a medicine. It does not get mushy when cooked, unlike the red and Mung beans. To obtain its antioxidant goodness, add a tablespoonful of rice beans to half a pot of water. Boil for 30 minutes until the water is completely red. Add some sugar if you like. Drink it as a tea. I have found that several types of beans are much similar about their features. For example, rice seeds; it looks like mung beans because they are somewhat related. This rice beans have six definite colours; auburn, crimson, lime green, pale tangerine, olive green and most of them are burgundy. Beans have various in common shapes, colors, width and height. If we see them maybe we might get confused for the reason that they are alike of their appearances. I prefer this kind of problem because beans are loaded with benefits; they have lots of advantages, and for instance, it can be a cure for illnesses like flu, decreases swelling, prevents pus, and dilutes the blood, etc. Red rice beans are widely considered as a remedy to various diseases. There are tons of uses of natural cure for a number of ailments. These usual remedies come from leafy vegetables, citruses, legumes, and reddish fruits such as cherries, strawberries, etc. These foods are common but will help to reduce the problems about human health that is why I chose this as my subject.
